MCR, LLC, a premier provider of Integrated Program Management services to the federal government, announced today that it has been awarded a $4.5 million contract for financial management support by the Operationally Responsive Space (ORS) Office at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, N.M.

Under the five-year contract, MCR will be responsible for cost estimating, cost research, financial management analysis, technical baselining / cost engineering, system acquisition and sustainment, cost risk analysis, and comprehensive cost and requirement (CCAR) administration for ORS.

The ORS Office is a joint initiative of the Department of Defense that integrates and supports joint ORS activities. Its mission is to plan and prepare for the rapid development of highly responsive space capabilities, as well as support their deployment, with the goal of getting new capabilities to warfighters as quickly as possible.
