MCR to Support NATO’s Air Command and Control Management Agency Firm to provide key mission support services under contract up to eight-years duration worth an estimated $14 million
MCR, LLC, a premier provider of Integrated Program Management services to the US government and Allied nations, has been awarded a contract for an estimated amount of 10 million euros ($14 million) by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to provide key mission support services to its Air Command and Control Management Agency (NACMA) for a period of up to eight years.
MCR will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support, including program management, engineering, risk management, cost analysis, configuration control, administrative and operational support.
The contract includes a base year and seven one-year options. The majority of support will be provided on-site at NACMA’s offices adjacent to NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
NACMA is an independent NATO Agency whose principal task is to conduct the central planning, system engineering, implementation and configuration management for the NATO Air Command and Control System (ACCS) Program. ACCS is intended to replace the existing air defense systems in NATO Europe with a single system which, at the tactical level, will provide the capability to plan, task and execute defensive, offensive and support air operations. The Agency employs over 100 people from NATO nations.
“MCR is extremely proud of the work we do supporting NATO. We see this contract as a continuation and extension of the support we’ve provided over the past ten years to the alliance,” said MCR’s CEO and President Neil Albert. “We look forward to supporting NATO in its ongoing efforts to enhance the systems critical to the defense of European airspace. This is obviously a very important effort and we are proud to be key contributors toward making this program a success.”
