McLean, VA — MCR, a McLean-based provider of program management services to the federal government, said on Thursday that it has acquired a portion of Alion Science and Technology's business that provides program management and technical services to the Navy's Office of Naval Research (ONR).Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Under the agreement, MCR acquired several contracts from Washington Consulting Government Services, a unit of McLean-based Alion. Neil Albert, the CEO of MCR, said that the acquisition broadens his company's presence with the Navy, and serves as a platform for it to expand throughout the Department of Defense.
