MCR Vice President, Peter Blocker Named AUVSI Chapter Leader of the Year

Mr. Peter Blocker, MCR’s Vice President of Defense and Intel Programs, Huntsville, AL, was named the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Chapter Leader of the Year.
Mr. Blocker has had one of the longest tenures as an AUVSI Chapter Officer, first serving as second Vice President from 2009-2011, then as first Vice President from 20011-2013, and spending 2013-2017 as the President of AUVSI Pathfinder. During that time and, under Peter’s leadership, the Chapter donated over half a million dollars to support robotics programs, competitions, teams, and organizations. In 2016, during his final year as Chapter President, the Chapter donated over $22,000 to thirty local schools organizations and teams. “We are very proud of Peter and the great work he has done supporting AUVSI and the unmanned systems industry.
